We work closely with independent Building Control consultants and Local Authority planning officers to ensure that your project is 100% compliant before beginning the project. We ensure that all health and safety information is in place including a construction phase plan along with risk assessments and method statements. We will assess the age of the building and subject to the nature of the project make sure that the required level of asbestos report is in place or if required commission a specific survey to ensure that risk on the project is mitigated. All operatives upon arrival will be inducted onto the site by our Site Foreman.
A programme is produced for each and every project, providing the overall duration, detailing phases within it and key milestones to identify decision dates which may influence procurement lead times. Items with extended lead times or detailed design requirements will be considered early in this planning process to ensure that they are given priority in the initial stages. Many projects evolve during the delivery phase, but we make sure that the programme evolves with it to always keep you informed with a real time outlook on how variations impact the completion date.
Every project will be overseen by one of our Project Manager’s who will have an in depth knowledge of the project before it commences on site. We will have a site-based team of operatives led and managed by our on-site Foreman, who will also be a trained first aider and your daily point of contact when needed. All aspects of the delivery and installation phase will be considered including any specific restrictions relating to the location, timing of deliveries and waste removal through to the impact on the surrounding areas relating to noise and confidentiality.
No project is complete until you are completely satisfied with all aspects of the delivery. We ensure that upon completion we provide you with an operations & maintenance manual and / or BIM model which will contain the details of all products and finishes on the project, warranty information, user instructions and maintenance guidance as well the certification for any electrical and mechanical alterations, Building Control and planning approvals.
